Staff

We have a number of general practice associates who are established and regular members of the practice team. The current GP Associates are Dr De Bono, Dr Huggins, Dr Ilves and Dr Ranaweera.

Appointments for these doctors may be offered to all patients registered here and their appointments can be used interchangeably with those of your registered GP at the surgery. The GP associates are fully qualified and trained GPs.
 
The practice has district nurses, midwives and health visitors attached. The district nurses have an office at The Belmont Surgery.

The midwives and health visitors have clinics at the surgeries. Their offices are at local health centres. If in doubt as to who or where to contact, a receptionist will be able to advise you.

Our nurses hold surgeries by appointment. They can help with immunisations, travel advice, ear syringing, removal of stitches, dressings, warts, family planning, and cervical smears. The nurses also organise our diabetic and asthma clinic. Increasingly the practice nurses are becoming involved in the care of a wide range of health conditions. We also hold a nurse-led minor illness clinic.
